  • ended up using technology to make them self supporting.
  • utzon had original design but structural engineer changed it alot to make it workable. Nightmare to build, but is surely a known building today

  • Hige light scoop on side of building and fake helicpad on top

  • First building to exceed heigh of St. Paul's thus destroying respect factor because it shouldnt exist
  • intended to conserve energy, but is still a full glass facade so had warming probs
  • tough and expensive to maintain the building because of its curvy nature
