- Must properly clean wound with soap/water - Irrigate w/ pressure - Do not close puncture wounds - Update tetanus, prevent rabies - Wrap in sterile gauze, elevate. Cat bites more serious than dogs! |

Usually through BAT bites - incubates for 1-3 months. **CNS symptoms including anxiety, dysphagia, seizures, coma.. Consider post exposure prophylaxis for a bat bite or a high risk area. Otherwise wait for test results. |
