Keep accurate record of daily activities on the S&R sheets Review schedule sheet at the end of each day and figure how much time was spent on each activity Enter daily totals for each activity and time category on Recruiting Timesheet At the end of each week, total the hours spent on each activity as well as each time category Do these for at least four weeks, at the end of the fourth week, review the Time Sheets, and work toward spending a minimum: 1) 60% working hours on Productive time 2) 30% working hours on Supportive time 3) 10% working hours on Unproductive time Compare the percentages for the four weeks to the standard above. Review the results of four weeks in terms of Interviews, NWA’s, and Contracts. If objectives were not reached, chances are too much time was spent on supporting and/or unproductive time. Percentages should correlate with the recruiter’s objective attainment. If the recruiter is really trying to make activity objectives with time available and is failing: Time is not being spent properly, or Recruiter needs help in prospecting and selling techniques Set new goals in terms of hours spent on each category for the next four week period Keep track of activity for the next four weeks Periodically recheck activities to ensure they do not lapse back toward unproductive/support type of activities. Ask yourself these questions: 1) How effective am I using my time? 2) How much time do I need to work to make mission? a) Recruiting Timesheets help answer these questions |
